On December 5th, 2015 the new national transportation infrastructure bill was signed. This 5-year program will invest $61 billion in public transportation and $300 billion on the nation’s highways and is the first of its kind in 10 years. As the need for design of this infrastructure grows, so too will it’s need for relocation design for the existing infrastructure that supports it. Typically, this work would be performed by the utilities themselves but more and more outside consultants are being asked to help. Our utility coordination group specializes in the support of DOT’s either revitalizing bridges, widening roads or designing new highways, and our team of utility coordination specialists have been providing this service for over 30 years.
